The awards „Oscar for Quality“ for 2012 have handed over

Manifestation dedicated to the World day of quality and European week of quality - FORUM OF QUALITY AND BUSINESS EXCELLENCE 2012.

 

 

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, the Foundation for a Culture of Quality and Excellence - FQCE and magazine "Quality and Excellence" in collaboration with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce have  organized on 5 and 6 November 2012.  the  professional meeting and event dedicated to the World day of quality and European week of quality - FORUM  OF QUALITY AND BUSINESS EXCELLENCE 2012.

As part of this event on 7th of November in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, awards for outstanding achievements in the promotion and development of quality and business excellence - "Oscar for  quality" have been assined. The awards were handed over  by Mr. Aleksandar Ljubic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economy on behalf the Minister Mladjan Dinkic, honorary president of the jury award.

In the category of big organizations  the Oscar  winner is  "Beohemija" from  Belgrade and in the small and medium enterprises category, the enteprise "Ukras" from Veliki Popovic. Mr. Ljubic has congratulated the winners of the companies and stressed that quality is a crucial for improvement of the business. He has amphasised, also, that Ministry of Finance and Economy encourages the competitiveness of the economy with number of measures, primarily by creation of legislative and institutional framework for harmonization of Serbian legislation with EU technical legislation and practice . In the fields of standardization, metrology, accreditation and conformity assessment  the Ministry provides the preconditions for the smooth placement of Serbian products on the EU's single market and raising the competitiveness of Serbian economy.

Mr Ljubic has stressed that companies that participate in the competition for this recognition through the revising of work and the key criteria of Oscar for QUALITY receive a very good tool for the assessment of their key performance relating to market demand, customers, partners, employees and society as a whole, would clearly be able to see the possibilities of future development.

Mr Ljubic also expressed his expectation that the national award for business excellence will be strong motivating factor to all economy operators for improving their business, which will contribute to the development of overall climate for improvement of quality in our country, and raising the competitiveness of Serbian economy.
