Issuing of domestic conformity documents based on foreign documents, without re-testing of the product

Information on issuing of domestic conformity documents based on foreign documents, without re-testing of the product, re-certification, or without preforming conformity assessment, by checking test reports.

Domestic designated conformity assessment body (accredited in a particular area) may issue appropriate conformity document, without further testing of the product, i.e. without re-assessment of conformity (by checking of technical documentation), if at least one of the following conditions is fulfilled:

1. that the domestic designated body and the foreign conformity assessment body, which issued foreign document of conformity, signed the agreement on mutual recognition of conformity assessment results;

2. that domestic designated body and foreign conformity assessment body are members of the international conformity assessment scheme (for exaample CB Scheme);

3. that the national accreditation body (which accredited foreign conformity assessment body that had issued foreign document of conformity) and Accreditation Body of Serbia -ATS (which accredited national designated body) signed the agreement on mutual recognition of equivalence of accreditation systems within the EA (EA MLA) in the relevant field.
