Rulebook on Hydrometers and Rulebook on Pressure Gauges for Measuring Tire Pressure published

Rulebook on Hydrometers and Rulebook on Pressure Gauges for Measuring Tire Pressure were published in the „Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 66/14, June 29, 2014.

            These two rulebooks will enter into force on July 7, 2014, but the Rulebook on Pressure Gauges for Measuring Tire Pressure will be applicable from January 1, 2015.

            Rulebook on Hydrometers prescribes the requirements and markings for hydrometers, method of determining compliance with those requirements, measuring methods, as well as the manner and conditions for verification of hydrometers. This rulebook is applicable on constant weight hydrometers, used to determine density of a liquid at a reference temperature.

           On the day this Rulebook enter into force following regulation shall be repealed: Rulebook on metrology requirements for constant-mass hydrometers („Official Gazette of SFRJ”, No. 54/85), Rulebook on metrology requirements for lactodensimeters („Official Gazette of SFRJ”, No. 50/86 and 31/87), Rulebook on metrology requirements for urinometers („Official Gazette of SFRJ”, No. 5/85) and Metrology instruction for controlling of hydrometers („Official Gazette of DMPM”, No. 2/85).

            Rulebook on pressure gauges for measuring tire pressure prescribes the requirements for pressure gauges for measuring tire pressure, method of determining compliance with those requirements, markings of pressure gauges, manner of type examination of pressure gauges for measuring tire pressure, measuring methods, and the manner and conditions for verification of pressure gauges for measuring tire pressure.

           This rulebook is applicable on gauges for measuring tire pressure which are used in the function of traffic safety, especially: during technical inspection of vehicles, tire services, at gas stations.

            On the day this Rulebook enter into force following regulations shall be repealed: Rulebook on metrology requirements for gauges for measuring tire pressure („Official Gazette of SFRJ”, No. 20/86 and 10/87) and Metrology instruction  for controlling gauges for measuring tire pressure („Official Gazette of DMPM”, No. 4/92).
